Never compare yourself to others
It’s easy to compare and be compared to other sales representatives. You need to have your own personal goals that outweigh the sales targets set by the business you work for. Focus on them and your targets will be met. The only rep you should beat is the rep you were yesterday.
Make integrity the heart of everything. If you lied at some point you are not honest every time. If you are not honest and aware of it, you will feel anxious and this will come around to bite you in the long run. Always be honest even if that means losing asale. This is aruleyou should never break.
Patience really is a virtue. We all have heard this saying, but most sales reps aren’t one. Most reps give up because they believe they have failed at selling. Sales is a sport you get better at overtime and with experience, but you have to keep practicing. Surround yourself with people who are willing to help you hone your skills. It takes years of practice and mentoring to master any money making skill.
