We often get stuck in the rut and routine of work and life and feel like we are not waking up with purpose. If you have felt like this, you will find that this article relates to you.
The ‘I’ in every sentence is a sense of self satisfaction and I encourage you to start writing an ‘I did journal’ to help you keep track of all your achievements big or small.
As a career women it is extremely challenging to play multiple roles, a mum, a wife and an extremely driven professional who strives for continual success. Sometimes we forget what truly makes us happy and what our purpose is, we easily get side tracked and consumed with meetings and a packed diary and have very little time to spend with what matters most.
Take time out to reflect, fuel your energy with the things you love doing and you will find true purpose. Time is precious and in our fast lives we commit to spending it on things that don’t fuel our passion or maximise our natural talent.
I have been on a career break this month. To spend time reassessing my goals and purpose. Let me tell you how I have spent my last month and also why a break is important.
I have listed below how I have spent my last few weeks.
This month on break has helped me reassess my purpose with what fuels my energy.
Now, I have been lucky to have this time to reflect and really work out what my purpose is and how I can use my talent to genuinely make a difference while adding immense value with my years of recruiting and talent attraction expertise.
Taking this time out to reflect has helped me reassess my goals and I have been grateful to have been able to surround myself with influences and people that share a similar vision.
Discovering the true entrepreneur in me and learning what my natural talent and abilities are has been an awesome journey.
Watch this space as I look forward to sharing my next venture with you.
