Student Admissions Director

Our client is a leading private college in the Creative Industries with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offering Diplomas and bachelor’s degrees in a range of creative courses.

 

This role can be based in either of these locations.

 

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that Student Admissions are consistently meeting and exceeding their objectives and targets through a best practice sales and admissions processes. This is achieved through the development, coaching and management of the Student Admission Team Leaders and the wider Team. You will be responsible for the working with various key stakeholders across the organisation in the setting, reporting and measuring the expectations and targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Sales Management:

  • Working collaboratively with the Marketing Director and Campus Directors to deliver on shared objectives and outcomes for admissions.
  • Ensure targets are clearly communicated to individual team members and team leaders and working with the relevant parties to ensure they are set up for success and with a growth focus.
  • Proactively mitigate impacts of underperformance and missed targets.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve the admissions process, reporting and use of the CRM to align with best practice.
  • Ensure effective and accurate reporting across Marketing, Campus Directors and other key stakeholders across key numbers and outcomes.

Team Management

  • Working with Team Leaders and Head of P&C to ensure teams are appropriately staffed.
  • Proactively monitor, proactively diagnose and address performance concerns in a timely manner.
  • Working with the Head of P&C to address continued under performance in a timely and efficient manner.
  • In collaboration with Team Leaders provide coaching and guidance to uplift the capabilities across the team.
  • Coordinate the ongoing training of the Student Admissions Team and Team Leaders.

Expos/Career Fairs/Other Marketing Activities

  • Working in partnership with Team Leaders, and Marketing to ensure Student Admissions Team members attend and that there is ample coverage for the event.
  • Understand the proposed visitors and audience make up and ensure admission team members are appropriately coached on the relevant objectives and USP’s.
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with marketing and operations to support the delivery of shared outcomes.
  • Assist in providing on the ground operational and admissions support when needed.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate actioning of event leads.
