About this Role

You will be responsible for hunting net new opportunities within our community and strategically selling our Research & Advisory solutions across the AU/NZ region to IT executives.

Your target audience will be a mix of mid-sized and large enterprise clients – many already engaged across the business’s event portfolio.

This is a hybrid opportunity with the head office based in sydneys CBD.

 

Responsibilities

  • Consult with C-level executive IT clients to develop and implement an effective, enterprise wide strategy that maximizes the value the business offers.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities with new organisations across Australia and New Zealand
  • Convert viable prospects into active clients, owning the full sales conversation and negotiation, through to the transition of new clients to the account management team
  • Continually build an encouraging pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics ensuring KPI’s are met
  • Manage complex high-revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments.
  • Master and consistently execute sales methodology
  • Handle forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis

Qualifications

  • A love of sales, respect for the art form and desire to work amongst other high calibre sellers
  • A desire to make a difference and over deliver on promises and customer expectations
  • 2+ years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in high technology (services, software or hardware)
  • Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets in a business development / new business environment
  • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior-level relationships within mid-size and large organisations
  • Strong proficiency in computer skills
  • Excellent written communication and oral presentation skills
  • Proficiency in account planning and an understanding of territory management
  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to confident close
