We are seeking experienced User Researchers / Interaction Designers who thrive in both disciplines — combining user research and UX/UI design to create intuitive and accessible digital experiences. Join our agile, multi-disciplinary teams in the Corporate and Digital Division, working on high-impact, public-facing, and internal service improvements.
UX/UI Designer Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within agile teams to gather evidence and improve user experiences.
- Translate complex business needs into user journeys, personas, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Design user research plans, manage participant recruitment, and conduct usability testing.
- Present insights and contribute to roadmap prioritisation and service design decisions.
- Apply inclusive and accessible design principles (WCAG 2.1 AA) throughout digital projects.
UX/UI Designer Required Skills and Experience
- Strong UX research methodologies and end-to-end UX/UI process expertise.
- Proven ability to create compelling design artefacts — prototypes, journey maps, personas, etc.
- Excellent communication skills, influencing multiple stakeholders with clear design rationales.
- Experience converting usability testing findings into actionable UI improvements.
- Solid understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
UX/UI Designer Desirable Skills
- Experience working in agile delivery teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in a design-related discipline (Human Factors, HCI, Web Development, etc.).
