Sponsorship Sales

Our client is a not-for-profit, non-government charitable organisation that works to create and sustain access to quality multidisciplinary healthcare for all Australians – no matter where they live. We work collaboratively with remote, rural, regional and Aboriginal health stakeholders to grow and strengthen a capable primary health workforce and support the capacity of health service organisations.

The Role

The Sponsorship Sales Manager will work strategically to drive the growth of the award sponsorship sales, exhibition sales and overall attendance. They will spearhead the growth of sponsorship revenue sales by securing higher yielding sponsorship deals. The sales component will be a key part of the role.

In addition, you will work with the conference producer who acquires the speakers. You will also work with the marketing and experience teams respectively to ensure the growth and delivery of the event portfolio.

Ideal candidate:

  • Someone looking to increase their sales acumen and responsibilities from owning the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Experience selling either transactional sales or more ideally, needs based or consultative sales
  • Proactive, ambitious and disciplined professional to drive sales through sales trips, face-to-face meetings and phone calls
  • Change agitator that wants to drive industries forward.
  • Results driven individual who has surpassed targets set and takes ownership of projects.
  • Experience leading other sales people or leading teams is beneficial but not required.
  • Willingness to prospect on own and create new leads for themselves.
