Divisional Manager Conference Production

Our client is currently experiencing growth and is on the look out for an experienced conference producer who will also mentor a team of two. 

Key tasks for the role include:

Project manage each event from start to finish by collaborating effectively with the project team (also including sales lead, events manager, and campaign manager) to ensure all elements of event development and delivery within budget
Develop/maintain and manage relationships with key industry contacts, including corporate communication contacts in the industry
Delivering the events on the day and managing speakers and clients effectively
Contribute to delivering a high level of audience and sponsor satisfaction
Contribute to the profitable outcome of each event
Finding innovative ways of audience engagement, developing new initiatives and implementing them to further help grow our brand and recognition in the market 
Topic generation 

 
Required skills and experience:

Bachelor’s degree
A minium of 3 years’ experience in conference production
Experience in delivering quality events and ensuring commercial viability
Ability to translate high level concepts into events
Strong writing / journalistic skills
Research and analytical skills
Project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and highly organised
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a pressurised environment and tight deadlines 
Ability to build business relationships at all levels
