Our client is a purpose-driven, Indigenous-owned social enterprise transforming how IT lifecycle services can create social and environmental good. They are currently looking for a hands on IT delivery head to roll up their sleeves and drive a smarter and more efficient way of working. You will be leading an IT strategy, operations, ensuring technology drives efficiency, security, and growth. You’ll oversee projects, streamline systems, and explore innovations like AI to benefit their business and clients.

Work location: Brisbane or Canberra (Hybrid)

Delivery Head Key Responsibilities

• Develop IT Strategy: Design systems and workflows that meet business and client needs while enabling scalable growth.
• Cybersecurity Leadership: Protect data and systems with robust security measures.
• Streamline Operations: Simplify processes, integrate platforms, and enhance operational clarity.
• Innovate and Automate: Implement cutting-edge tools like automation and analytics for impactful results.
• Smart Outsourcing: Balance in-house expertise with external partnerships for efficiency.
• Problem-Solving: Resolve issues quickly and effectively to ensure seamless operations.
• AI and Emerging Tech: Leverage AI and innovative tools to drive transformation and client success.

Technical Skills:

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Cybersecurity tools and frameworks (SIEM, ISO 27001).
• Automation tools (UiPath, RPA) and data analytics platforms (Power BI).
• API integration, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and project management methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
• Nice to have -ITIL, PMP, CISA/CISSP or any other relevant certifications for the role
