Position Title: Senior Business Analyst – Digital Transformation Programs
Location: Sydney & Canberra
Security Clearance: Must hold Baseline Security Clearance
Contract Duration: Through FY25–FY26 (12+ months likely)
The Senior Business Analyst will play a key role in delivering large-scale digital reform programs within a Federal Government department. This position involves working with cross-functional teams to capture user and business requirements, contribute to digital service design, and support delivery of cloud-based and compliant solutions.
Senior Business Analyst Key Responsibilities
- Capture and analyse user and business requirements for digital services
- Develop user stories, process flows, and technical documentation
- Engage with stakeholders across divisions to identify opportunities for system improvement
- Support Alpha/Beta phases of new product development
- Align with government digital standards, including security and privacy protocols
- Facilitate integration, transition, and risk management activities
Senior Business Analyst Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in business analysis, with at least 5 years in the Federal Government sector
- Proven experience in agile delivery environments
- Strong understanding of digital product lifecycle and stakeholder engagement
- Experience supporting complex ICT projects in compliance with federal guidelines
