IDAM Sailpoint Engineer

We are seeking a skilled IDAM Engineer with expertise in MS Azure AD/Entra ID to join our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deploying and managing IAM (Identity and Access Management) and IGA (Identity Governance and Administration) tooling. Experience with SailPoint IAM is mandatory. The role requires a deep understanding of authentication protocols such as SAML, OpenID, and OAuth, alongside proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, and Python, and experience in scripting. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and Manage IAM/IGA Tooling:
  • Implement and maintain IAM and IGA solutions, with a focus on MS Azure AD/Entra ID.
  • Manage the lifecycle of user identities, ensuring secure and efficient access to resources.
  • Configure and customize SailPoint IAM to meet organizational needs.
  • Authentication Protocols:
  • Implement and support authentication protocols including SAML, OpenID, and OAuth.
  • Ensure secure integration of various applications and services with authentication protocols.
  • Programming and Scripting:
  • Develop and maintain code in Java, C#, and Python to support IAM/IGA functionalities.
  • Automate repetitive tasks through scripting to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Agile and Scrum Methodology:
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver IAM solutions in an iterative manner.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure IAM solutions adhere to industry standards and compliance regulations.
  • Regularly review and update security policies related to identity management.
  • Troubleshooting and Support:
  • Provide technical support for IAM-related issues, resolving problems in a timely manner.
  • Perform regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and security.

Mandatory Experience and Skills:

  • Extensive experience with MS Azure AD/Entra ID.
  • Strong expertise in SailPoint IAM.
  • In-depth understanding of authentication protocols: SAML, OpenID, OAuth.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Java, C#, Python.
  • Experience in scripting for automation and task efficiency.
  • Solid understanding and experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in Azure AD, IAM, or related fields.
  • Experience with other IAM tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Security Clearance: Negative Vetting Level 1 & Baseline AGSVA Level Clearance essential
