Project Support Officer
As a Project Support Officer, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient execution of ICT projects. You’ll work closely with a small team to handle administrative tasks and support project operations.
Key Responsibilities of a Project Support Officer:
- Documentation: Create and maintain project documents, including plans and reports.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Manage project schedules, meetings, and appointments.
- Budget Monitoring: Track project budgets, invoices, and expenses, and generate financial reports.
- Risk Management: Help identify and manage project risks, track issues, and resolve them.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a contact point for stakeholders, providing updates and facilitating communication.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct audits and reviews to ensure project quality standards are met.
- Administrative Support: Assist with meeting agendas, minutes, and project events.
- Resource Allocation: Help with tracking and ordering materials and equipment.
Evaluation Criteria:
- Experience in project administration or coordination, especially within Defence ICT projects.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Service Now).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
Contract Details:
- Initial contract with potential for up to three 12-month extensions based on performance and funding.
- Security Clearance: NV2 or PV preferred.
