Our client is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Tester to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, ensuring high-quality software delivery, and ensuring the solution meets the business requirements. The role requires close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Location: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Queensland

Microsoft Dynamics Tester Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, including both manual and automated tests.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Dynamics 365 modules, such as Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
• Identify, document, and report defects and work closely with development teams to track and resolve them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure the system meets business requirements.
• Test customizations, workflows, and integrations with other applications and systems.
• Validate data migration processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of data in Dynamics 365.
• Ensure test environments are up to date and reflect production conditions.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for repetitive testing tasks using tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or any other relevant automation framework.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards, processes, and guidelines.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, scrum meetings, and provide feedback on test results.
• Support the business in executing UAT, providing guidance, and capturing results.
• Provide detailed test reports and documentation, summarizing testing progress, test results, and quality of the software.

Microsoft Dynamics Tester Required Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/CRM systems.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules, including Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and Operations.
• Experience in creating and executing manual test cases and automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestComplete, or equivalent for automation.
• Knowledge of SQL for querying data and validating data integrity in Dynamics 365.
• Ability to create test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and defect logs.
• Experience with API testing and integration testing between Dynamics 365 and other enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience in both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Microsoft Azure DevOps for test case management and defect tracking.
• Certification in Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Experience in Performance Testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps) and its integration with Dynamics 365.
